Aurelia the Jellyfish 🪼 

Whilst not anatomically accurate (no jellyfish species I’m aware of has stars in their tentacles), she definitely captures your attention. Intermixed in her bell are opalite, crystal, and glass beads. In her tentacles are tiny stars, and she is surrounded by iridescent bubbles. Some bubbles also float onto the frame, and catch the light, casting miniature rainbows. 

🪼Made with new and upcycled materials: frame is thrifted vintage, and many of the beads used were sent to me by a lovely follower from her stash. The sequins are vintage, gifted by a friend who found them antiquing. 

🪼Not for kids or pets, keep out of reach of both 

🪼measures roughly 14 inches tall and 12 inches wide. MUST be hung with a sturdy nail or monkey hook, do not use adhesive/ Command hooks. The frame is ceramic, and while not overly heavy, I wouldn’t trust a sticky hook. 

🪼be cautious unpacking this piece, there will be more bubble wrap and cushion to keep her safe, and she’ll be wrapped tightly to prevent shifting

A large white ceramic frame with raised filigree details has an oval center. In the frame there is a white and silver jellyfish made entirely of crystal and glass beads. It is set against a deep black fabric, and all around the jellyfish are sequin bubbles in varying sizes. As the light shifts the bubbles change color from blue to green. There are tiny raised bubbles scattered across the fabric and onto the frame.
